Curriculum Vitae and work activities

Lisa Steenkamer studied for a bachelor's degree in Art and Economics at the Utrecht School of the Arts. During this study, she did an internship at the Van Gogh Museum. Subsequently, she took the master's degree in Art History at the University of Amsterdam. Here she specialised in seventeenth-century Dutch art. While studying here, she did an internship at the Frans Hals Museum, where she researched the seventeenth-century Haarlem artist family De Grebber. This is also where she wrote her master's thesis, called The lives and art of the De Grebber family: a reception history of an artist family. From 2023, Lisa is active as a museum educator at the Stedelijk Museum Alkmaar.

Since April 2025, Lisa has been an information specialist at the Collections Department of the RKD - Netherlands Institute for Art History. Here, she supports visitors in the study room and carries out various cataloguing tasks.
